Again...With the Suckage!

Not even one day! I told you I am horrible at finishing things! I wish I was though...it would make my life quite easy if I actually could. So my 21st birthday is just around the corner (Sept 26th) and I once again had the feeling like I wasn't living to my fullest potential. There are so many things I want to see and do but no....let's say motivation to do it.

I made a new list (again) but this time with more practical goals. Honestly, there was no way I was going to do all those things on a weekly basis when i have school, and work and a social life. The plan does take previous goals and blends them in an eclectic manner as if we were baking a birthday cake. (I thought it was fitting)

This is what I like to call, Plan 21
 1. Read 1 book every 3 weeks (roughly 18 books a year)
 2. Attempt a crossword a day
 3. Do a DIY a week (cooking, crafts, handyman work, etc.)
 4. Establish Company/Website

Just four simple things...or simple enough. I'm comprising my bucket list as well. I just want my 21st year of life to be kick-ass! Here's hoping :)

I Screwed Up...

Okay, my 2011 resolution was not kicked off to a good start. Not to make excuses but... I forgot how rough school is! But with the slaps on the wrist out of the way, I have devised a plan that will keep things interesting for you and I. I mean I am a chatter box but i tend to ramble (if you haven't noticed from my past post).

The "plan" is to have themed post daily so
Monday: A Day In Pictures (I'm relatively boring on Mondays so lets see if we can jazz it up a bit)
Tuesday: Beauty Tuesday (I've always envied the beauty gurus on YouTube so I'm breaking into it slowly)
Wednesday: Thoughts On My Mind (I am always thinking about something random so I'd thought I'd share. Sharing is caring)
Thursday: Quote of the Day (I usually go out Thursdays (party animal) so I need something short and sweet)
Friday: Friday Morning Hangers (Where I summarize the night before...always in for a good story)
Saturday: Bitch It Out (Not to say I like bitching but its sometimes good to get things off your chest)
Sunday: Cooking Mama (I love to cook but I suck at it...this way we can all benefit from laughing at my horrible attempts)

Fun, no?! Well if i'm able to keep it up for at least a month I will be so impressed with myself! This will be in place as of tomorrow. I'm a tired blogger and my bed is calling my name.

[6] highschool ball

I watched my brothers highschool game yesterday and let me just tell you... I miss it way too much!

Exhausted -__-

Honestly, so many amazing this happened today I just don't have the energy to tell you about it. 4 hours sleep the night before = a very tired girl. I can barely keep my eyes open to do this. But a commitment is a commitment. Proud of me yet?

[5] Technology is my Best Friend

You know that one thing you cant leave the house without...could be your keys, shoes, your pants, but i would leave all those behind to always have my phone. Call it an addiction if you will cause I know it is and the first step it admitting it...so HA! :)

Jersey Shore...BITCH!

Today was so productive! Very proud of myself :) After work (which started at 5am and ended at 10) I came home did my laundry; which if you saw my pile would blow your mind, did my nails, get ready for my orientation tomorrow and went to my bros basketball game. I know it seems like mundane, silly, girly stuff but it was everything on my list that i wanted to accomplish so that's a step in the right direction right?

So after a tiring day (of doing basically nothing...who am I kidding?) I come home to unwind to some trashy reality TV. Jersday is the best day of the week, don't lie :) So um Sammy is and idiot, Deena is stupid as hell, J-Wow is still ma girl, and the boys are great. Overall great season start and I'm looking forward to more.

I know my post are mediocre at best but trust me once i start school I'll actually have more things to bring to the table. If any ones out there stick with me :)

[4] P-E-A-C-E on Earth

This picture clearly has no correlation to my want of peace on earth. I have gotten so many questions on what my necklace says...PEACE, it says peace.

Rant over :)

Turn Up The Lights In Here Baby...

I'm only human. Sometimes I make a mistake (understatement) but when it comes to posting I guess I should take accountability for my actions. No double post yesterday, and to be honest I really didn't want to do a post today. But I pushed through my excruciating headache and here I am. I have really nothing to write about today. Pointless blogpost? I think so!

Only thing I can contribute today is that All of The Lights by Kayne West ft. Rhianna is currently my favourite song but the constant dubstep beat is probably contributing to my headache...blah! Getting my student card and my laptop activated at the college tomorrow! Exciting news there. Just none today!

[3] I take pictures before I workout...Does that make me vain?

I told you I was going to workout (even though my hair should be in a ponytail) What's your favourite workout? Or even better, favourite workout clothes?

P.S I like how the shadow on my face kind of represents my split personality. Hurray to bad lighting!

Friends...Come Back To Me!

The tough thing about living at home and commuting to school is the lack of friends who have the same idea as you. At our age the whole thought of being on your own and drinking your liver away without parental supervision is a great sell. Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging any of my friends or anyone that goes away for that matter. I am simply just hella jealous! What I wouldn't give to get a great post secondary education away from home. Sadly, I can not which leads me to the point of this post. A huge majority of my friends went back to school after the holidays so I am mopping at home getting nothing done (which is not helping my resolution either). I have work tonight which is great, but in the hours leading up to it I find myself stuck on the computer playing countless, unproductive hours of Tetris Battle and Snake.

Blah! I think today calls for a double post. I'm going to go workout right now...well that's the plan. I'm all dressed but I think I like looking cute in workout clothes rather than doing the act itself hahaha oh dear. So the plan is currently:
                          1. Workout
                          2. Fold up clothes/ do laundry
                          3. Go to work
                          4. Figure out what I need for school

I believe that at least one of these things will be completed (It's not like I can choose not to go to work) I will be back to fill you in on my progress. :)

[2] Wish I had one of these for lifes' mistakes...

I saw this at Chapters and immediately I had to have it. Since I'm going to be doing lots of math I thought it was appropriate :) It will get lots of use...I am sure of it!

Late Night & Early Mornings

5 hours sleep! I have a tendency to go to bed really late but wake up extremely early. For a young women who gets cranky if not enough sleep has been had, this is a very horrible thing. For those that don't know (which is the majority of you) I have been out of school for half a semester. I was studying sociology and i had such a hate for it I had to drop out. I mean there's no sense of paying tuition for a program that i hate right? So I recently applied and got accepted to school for Computer Science...exciting! But now due to my early 4:30 am mornings to open Starbucks (Barista in da house!) I have a very messed up sleeping pattern. I'm terrified for my life on how I'm going to survive the first week! Send good sleeping thoughts my way tonight!

Yesterday I powered through my hangover and went to Chapters. Does anyone elses heart beat exponentially when they walk into that store? Picked up some books (all part of number 3 on my resolution list) Nothing special: Notes from the Backseat by Jody Gehrman and Celebutantes by Amanda Goldberg & Ruthanna Khalight Hopper. I still have like 3 books from the summer that I have to finish first!

Yay another thing to add to the list -_- . I also picked up THE best eraser ever! You shall see it in picture #2 later today! Its just love!
