specific thing so I'm thinking of a list of things to do (I'm very particular about my list)
1. Be way more organized.
So I'm generally a messy person. Everything is just everywhere,
nothing in it's place. But since I'm starting a whole new program at school, I have a huge
drive in me to thrive to be the best (cheesy, yes i know. Deal with it.) I fell the only way to even start to remotely accomplish this is to be organized. So in order to stay organized I should:
1. Keep an Agenda everyday
2. Make To-Do list daily
Now in elementary school, we were given Agendas to promote this exact goal, but Aliyah being the lazy girl that she was never wrote a sentence in that thing. So I'm a little nervous on how this one is going to turnout. Hopefully doing these things on a daily basis will kick my bad unorganized habit. Today I even went to Chapters and actually bought myself a "To-Do List" Notepad! The cashier didn't look very impressed.
2. Actually finish something
I have a habit of starting something and not finishing it. I could
really hate the project or be deeply interested, it does not matter I
won't finish. So I'm thinking this little project will actually help me
accomplish that. It's a project to make sure I finish a project. I
don't know whether I'm setting myself up for success or major failure.
I read on some site about new year resolutions that a good way to do
this is to keep a 365 photo diary. Basically take a picture everyday
about something new that's important to you and talk about it. It's
suppose to help you visually see if your life is going in the right
direction and force you to change it if its not. Seems simple enough
especially since I'm a self proclaimed camera whore :). Plan is to
incorporate it into this stupid thing. (I apologize for my standoffish
mood regarding this blog...the thought of me writing 365 entries
scares the hell out of me).
3. Do more to increase myself
Basically read more, help more, learn more... all so i can live more. (You'll see that on a Lululemon bag very soon, you watch) It would be nice to be able to say I know a certain language or random facts about etymology, or to say I helped build houses for those in need. Its just the little things that I believe I can do that will not only help myself but help others. I will definitely look into more of this along this yearly process.
So that's what I have so far...wish me luck! I know I'm only typing into cyberair here and no one is actually listening (or in this case reading) but i do like typing this off my chest. Trust me, this won't be a blog strictly based on these resolutions but of my life (a little censored for those with sensitive eyes) Lets see if we can keep this going for more than a week:)
